problem with Illustrator: shape Solved/Closed

Hello,  I have a problem with Illustrator CS, I can't enlarge or shrink my shape anymore.  If anyone knows how to retrieve the "square" to enlarge or shrink,  Thank you

I have Illustrator CS2 :/ it's different
I suggest you go to:
the Edit menu / Keyboard Shortcuts / Menu Commands and then in Display: look for the shortcut corresponding to "Hide Selection Edges"?

this type of problem is often caused by a modification of the "transformation" tool settings,
so you might try to fix it by going to "window" "transformation" (shift + f8 for cs) the little window appears, click on the arrow at the top left and modify the famous settings..

Phew, I also had the shortcut SHIFT+CTRL+B to remove bold text and then it was impossible to find the little squares at the corners of the objects to manipulate them easily. A big thank you to salwa5.
