How to appear in friend suggestions?

Hello,
I have a contact number for someone I found on Facebook. I don't want to send her a friend request... however, I would like to know if by frequently checking her profile, I would eventually appear in her friend suggestions? From my side, she always shows up in the top 5 suggestions (I recently synced my contacts, so it’s probably why Facebook is suggesting this friend since I didn't see her before (we have no mutual friends, we're hundreds of kilometers apart, but I have her number, she does not).

That said, generally speaking, if it is in yours, you will end up in theirs.
These "suggestions" use very obscure algorithms, of which only Facebook knows the secret...

It's still strange to have synced my contacts (5 people from my contacts appeared with whom I wasn't friends) and yet the other 4 people don't show up in my suggestions even though I did exactly the same thing for everyone. By the way, the person I mentioned in the first message still appears in 1st or 2nd place on the list.
What do you think?
