My microphone picks up the sounds from my PC. Solved

Question

Hello, I've had a problem for quite some time; when I'm on Teamspeak (or Skype, it doesn't matter) and I talk, if I have music or sound effects in the background, like when I'm playing a game for example, my friends can hear it. How can I fix this problem? It must come from the microphone configuration; there must be a setting that makes my microphone also pick up the sounds from the PC. Thanks to anyone who can help me. Hello

In the sound settings on Windows, under recording, you should have 'stereo mix' selected.

By selecting 'mic' instead (and setting the volume to 2/3, which you can adjust later), it should be fine. You can also take this opportunity to set the playback volume of the mic quite low to avoid feedback (the echo).

There's a bug, I can't post the link to the screenshot, the message won't post..
My friends hear the sound from my PC in very good quality, it’s almost like the sound is coming from their PS actually.

A year later I have exactly the same problem, except that it's a different version of the Realtek manager and I can't find the right options to uncheck stereo mixing!! A little help would be greatly appreciated?0 =)
