Hello,
For the past few weeks, my Facebook account has been disabled. I have been sending emails every day, and finally, I received a response yesterday stating that my fake name was problematic. I was instructed to reply to the email specifying my real last name.
However, just a few minutes ago, I received an email asking me to send a scan of my ID. They guarantee that after verification, they will destroy the scan. Of course, I won't do that; I find it very... dangerous, and I'm honestly surprised.
Has this happened to you? Did you send a scan of your ID? Is there any other way I could recover my account?
Thanks in advance.

Facebook sometimes requests identification to confirm that the account you are trying to access truly belongs to you. This happens, for example, if people have reported the account as being impersonated.
The entire process can be fairly quick if you do it correctly from the start.
See here how to do it and which identification documents are required:

Since when do we have to send really confidential information to Facebook when they constantly remind us to "be careful not to disclose our personal info"?
It's harassment, the desire to know everything about everyone. It's perverse and truly incomprehensible. Facebook is just a pathetic site meant to keep in touch. Not a means to classify people and individuals.
It's genuinely pointless to ask for a photo of the ID card, why not a bank transfer too?
Certainly to sell all this data very expensively to marketing companies that are going to flood you with spam and commercial offers by phone.
